Award for Apprentice Christine Werner
10/30/2012Christine Werner is the best apprentice in the Würzburg-Schweinfurt region and is continuing an impressive tradition of having excellent apprentices in the University's chemistry institutes.
Once a year, the Chamber of Industrie and Commerce (IHK) honors the best apprentices in the Würzburg-Schweinfurt region. And once again, a laboratory apprentice from the University of Würzburg is in first place. 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012: in all these years the University's apprentices were in first place. In a solemn ceremony in Bad Kissingen Christine Werner received this year's award from president Dieter Pfister and executive director Jürgen Bode.
Christine Werner's instructors are very happy about her outstanding exam and her decision to stay. She is now working in the group of Prof. Holger Braunschweig (Institute of Inorganic Chemistry).
