Instrumentation
All essential modern analytical techniques are available in the Schatzschneider group or the analytical facilities of the Institute for Inorganic Chemistry. This includes UV/Vis, IR, EPR and NMR spectroscopy as well as X-ray diffraction techniques (single crystals and powder diffraction). Furthermore, there is a CHNS analysis service and HPLC as well as HPLC-MS instrumentation. Measurements are carried out by trained coworkers in the group as well as dedicated technical support staff.
