Rikuto Kanno from Kyoto University visited our group and presented his outstanding research. Thank you very much for your inspiring talk, Rikuto-san! Moreover, Lutz Nuhn was invited to a panel discussion on "The New Wave of Open Access" at the Frankfurt Book Fair organized by Wiley. The Macromolecular Therapeutics Team also heartily welcomes Thomas Kroll, Sebastian Hienz, Tom Gudehus and Julian Spieß for their research internships in the group - best of luck with all your experiments!

Congratulations, Leon! He successfully defended his outstanding thesis “Exploring Poly(hemiacetalester) for Immunodrug Delivery”. We are proud to have you as new PhD in the team! Moreover, Johannes Kockelmann and Lutz Nuhn participated in the GDCh Makro2024 conference in Dresden and presented the latest results of the Macromolecular Therapeutics team.

The Macromolecular Therapeutics Lab spent a fantastic joyful sunny day canoeing along the river Main.

Adrian Hauck, Alex Fuchs and Lutz Nuhn joined the Macro 2024 Meeting in Warwick and presented the research of the Macromolecular Therapeutics Team. During the meeting, Lutz Nuhn was awarded the 2024 Hanwha-TotalEnergies IUPAC Young Scientist Award. Afterwards, he joined the Annual Meeting of the Controlled Release Society in Bologna and was further awarded the Nanomedicine and Nanoscale Delivery Young Investigator Award. Thank you very much to both IUPAC and CRS for these two honorable recognitions, also on behalf of whole team's incredible achievements! Later on, Lutz Nuhn was invited to present the latest research of the lab at the GDCh Colloquium in Potsdam - thank you very much for the kind invitation!

For the first time the Macromolecular Therapeutics Team took part in the Faculty's ChemCup soccer tournament. Thanks to the organizers (AK Mitric & AK Röhr) and congratulations to the Boron Bandits (AK Braunschweig). Moreover, Lutz Nuhn was invited to Munich by the Bavarian Prime Minister for a friendly "Welcome to Bavaria".

We have a new PhD in the group: Congratulations to Alina for successfully defending her thesis “Macromolecular Carriers for pH-Responsive Immunodrug Delivery” - well done! Moreover, we have a new team member: Dr. Aidan Izuagbe has joined the Macromolecular Therapeutics Lab as our first postdoc: best of luck with all your experiments! Finally, Lutz Nuhn was invited by the colleagues of the Macromolecular Chemistry at Bayreuth University and presented the latest results of the group - thanks again for the kind invitation and the great time.

Congratulations to Marlene and Lara, two brillant high school students from Gymnasium Veitshöchheim! They recently visited our labs and successfully participated in this year's Jugend Forscht! They received the first price of the regional competition for their exciting nanocapsule project - congratulations!

Great success for our first seminar on Nanomedicine at JMU Würzburg: This master's course ended with an interactive poster session and passionate discussions by all participants in front of their posters. Thanks a lot to all students for making this seminar a great success! Come join us studying in Würzburg!

Later on, the Macromolecular Therapeutics Team joined the Macromolecular Colloquium in Freiburg where Alexander Fuchs presented a poster about his great work in the team.
