Awards for apprentice and for instructor

For the third straight year the best final exam, covering both chemical knowledge and laboratory skills, was performed by an apprentice from the University of Würzburg, succeeding excellent apprentices from 2009 and 2010. If this were football, the University of Würzburg just scored a hat-trick. The outstanding performance of the university's apprentices is of course the result of hard work and dedication – from both apprentices and faculty. Accordingly, instructor Dr. Alfons Ledermann was honoured for his great commitment to education by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology.
