Prince Ravat has been a junior research group leader at the Institute of Organic Chemistry since 2019 and, after successfully completing his habilitation project, has been a private lecturer since January 2024. He has received many awards during his studies and academic career, with the Chemistry Prize of the Keck Köppe Foundation being the most recent one. This prize, endowed with 5,000 euros, is awarded every 3-4 years, for the first time in 2014 to Gustavo Fernández, who at the time also led a junior research group at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and was appointed to a professorship at the University of Münster shortly afterwards. For Prince Ravat, the next step in his career is probably imminent soon, as the German Research Foundation DFG recently award him with a Heisenberg Fellowship.
