Poster prize awarded to Marina Safont
07/17/2008Marina Safont, PhD student at the institute of organic chemistry (supervisor Prof. Würthner), was awarded the Royal Chemical Society's 2008 OBC Poster prize at an international symposium held in Geneva.
The poster prize was awarded to Marina Safont Sempere at the 20th International Symposium on Chirality in the beginning of June for her poster "Aggregation Properties of Chiral Macrocylic Perylene Bisimides in Solution and Condensed State". She received an OBC prize certificate and one-year print subscription to the Journal of Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry (OBC). More information is available on the journal's homepage: news article
