Poster Prize for Daniel Görl
09/16/2015At the “International Symposium on Amphiphilic Polymers, Networks, Gels and Membranes” (APNGM15) in Budapest, Hungary, Daniel Görl, doctoral candidate at the Würthner Group, was awarded with the prize for the best poster.
The poster entitled "Hydrophobic Effects of Perylene Bisimides" showes entropically driven self-assembly of bolaamphiphilic perylene bisimide dyes in water, along with a description of its origin at the molecular level, which was brought in context with hierarchical aggregation growth of such dyes.
