Internship

The Bachelor internships at the AK Engels take place in March and August. The internship will be held if at least three participants are present. A maximum of five trainees will be admitted.

Since the internship deals with theoretical chemistry, the bachelor lecture Quantum Chemistry is required. From the first part of the lecture Symmetry-Bonding & Light the exercises have to be completed successfully.

Following the four-week internship in the bachelor's program, a paper hast to be handed in with evaluation and discussion of the data gatherd during the internship. In addition, each participant has to give a 15-minute talk on the work done during the internship followed by a discussion about the content of the internship and the paper. The quality of the paper, the presentation and the discussion are relevant for passing the internship.
