31.10.2016A Silacyclopropene with a Six-Coordinate Silicon Atom and an SiN4C2 Skeleton: Synthesis and Structural Characterization
Authors: Johannes A. Baus, Nadine Laskowski, Reinhold Tacke
Abstract: Treatment of the donor-stabilized silylene [iPrNC(Ph)NiPr]2Si with Ph–C≡C–Ph resulted in a [2+1] cycloaddition reaction to afford a silicon(IV) compound, the first silacyclopropene with a six-coordinate silicon atom. This compound was structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and multinuclear NMR spectroscopic studies in the solid state and in solution.
