Abstract: "In the first part of this talk organic redox polymers will be presented as electrode materials for next-generation batteries. In the second part of the talk the syntheses and optoelectronic as well as host guest properties of conjugated nanohoops incorporating dibenzopentalenes as ambipolar π-systems will be discussed."
