Maximilian Baumann finished his chemistry (Master) studies at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität of Würzburg in May 2019. He wrote his Master thesis "Umbrella-Shaped Mesogens for Polar and Ferroelectric Liquid-crystalline Phases" at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in the working group of Prof. Dr. Lehmann.

Leonard Fink studied chemistry (Bachelor and Master) at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität of Würzburg from October 2017 to December 2022. He wrote his Master thesis "Synthese BTBT-substituierter Phthalocyanine mit Siloxan-Peripherie als organische Halbleitermaterialien" at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in the working group of Prof. Dr. Lehmann.

For his PhD thesis he is funded by the "Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes".

Anselm Herzog studied Math and Chemistry (teaching degree) at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg from October 2011 to March 2016. From March 2016 to November 2021 he studied Chemistry at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität  Würzburg.  He wrote his Bachelor thesis “Synthese und Charakterisierung eines neuartigen C3-symmetrischen OPV-Sternmesogens“ in 2018 and his Master thesis "Synthesis and Characterisation of Hexasubstituted oligothiophen starmesogenes containing PBIs" at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in the working group of Prof. Dr. Lehmann.
